Namibia

Young Voices meets at the Polytechnic of Namibia, one of the two universities in the country. Since it was founded in April 2009, the group has campaigned for access to education and job opportunities for disabled graduates, including speaking on the radio about these issues.

They also act as role models for children with disabilities to encourage them to continue their education and enter the mainstream job market. Future priorities include promoting access to HIV/AIDS information and building links with other groups of disabled young people.
